New Parochial Vicar Named to St. Thomas the Apostle
St Thomas Parishioners,
My name is Deacon Alex Lorang, I will be ordained a priest on May 20 of this year, and I’m excited to spend my first years of priesthood at St. Thomas the Apostle! I start Monday July 3. I’ve spent the past eight years in seminary, and I’ve often prayed for ‘my first parish.’ It’s incredible to finally have a concrete community to be praying for, and I look forward to meeting all of you soon! Please pray for me as I prepare for my ordination, and know that I’ll be praying for all of you! Fun fact: at my ordination, I will be one of the youngest (maybe even THE youngest) priest in the country at age 25. I am from Homer Glen, Illinois. God Bless!
