Finding God One Moment at a Time December 21
We are created in the image of God, who is the infinite epitome of mindfulness. If mindfulness is awareness of the present moment, God is the present moment.
From the Mindful Catholic Dr. Gregory Bottaro
One way to think about prayer is to look for God’s presence in your life one moment at a time. More than 400 years ago, St. Ignatius Loyola encouraged prayer-filled mindfulness through a technique called the Examin. This technique of prayerful reflection is an exercise to recognize God’s presence in the ordinary events of the day and to discern God’s direction for our lives. Through breathing exercises, meditation and reflection, spiritual director Jane Zimmerman will help you to master the art of mindfulness in the Catholic tradition.
Come experience the peace that can only come from God.
