Race Card Project Thank You
It was three months ago that The Race Card Project at St. Thomas bulletin board first appeared with a few Race Cards posted. In that three months’ time, approximately 220 Race Cards were posted. The Race Cards were challenging, affirming, clever, sad and always thought-provoking. Clearly, you had something to say.
One of the hopes with the project is that people, with differing views, would enter into conversation about race. If creating a Race Card made you think and reflect, if reading a Race Card stirred up emotion in you and led to reflection, if you discussed a Race Card with someone, then we consider those successes. We thank you for your participation and for being willing to join the conversation.
Over the next several weeks, Race Cards from The Race Card Project at St. Thomas will be published in the bulletin. If you find yourself dwelling on a particular Race Card and would like to comment on it, you can do that by emailing RaceCardProject@stapostle.org.
